How to choose right watch for you.
Many Children's Hospitals use wagons as a primary patient transport vehicle for patients up to ages 7. While wheelchairs for small children do exist this solution is less expensive for hospitals. In fact, many hospitals that use wagons in this manner benefit from the community, and former patients as children outgrow their wagons at home. This dynamic means that as wagons wear out hospitals and clinics often receive free wagons from the abundance of the goodwill in the community. These wagons also provide important psychological support for children and their families to help normalize a potentially scary situation. Wagons are a wonderful solution for facilitating patient transport, providing social interactions, and acting as an all-around utility cart for staff as well.

Simple Moments can be Profound

For many "Innovation" has become a buzzword, but it is more than that. The path of innovation is not usually linear or easy, but it can be very rewarding. This website showcases how a simple moment can be an invitation to something better.

In a busy hospital lobby a single mother is pulling a red wagon that contains her child in one hand, and in the other is an IV pole with tubes connected to the child. She is struggling, her clothes look like she's slept in them, perhaps more than once. The IV tubing is so long that it reaches the floor, each step is a risk that the wagon with run over the tube and get entangled around the wheel or pull the IV from the child. The IV pole is top-heavy and the wagon is heavy for the petite mother. It is clear that she was struggling with this burden.

After witnessing this interaction, it became clear that other parents and hospital staff also struggled with managing this task. A review of the problem produced many conflicting requirements and a survey of existing solutions created problems of their own. It was evident that a new approach was needed, but thoughtful attention to detail was required to satisfy all the requirements of this particular problem. However, if a solution could be implemented it would provide helpful assitance to a large number of people.
