Senior Executive Consultant
George earned his way through college in a school-sponsored cooperative studies management program. He completed his education and recived a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Delta State University.
He has worked with many local and national non-profits, as well as large corporate organizations. In addition to over thirty years of experience in the healthcare industry, he has in-depth knowledge of supply chain & logistics, contract negotiations, contingency planning, and hospital administration. He has experience managing large initiatives like new hospital development and healthcare system expansion efforts.
George is a talented group leader, public speaker, and facilitator. He has served as the president of the Alabama Society of Healthcare Material Management for four terms.
Matthew Pearson, PhD
Executive Healthcare & Innovation Consultant
Matthew has worked in engineering, bio-tech, healthcare, and academia. He is a gifted designer, researcher, writer, and speaker.
Matthew earned three degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham: a dual bachelor's degree of science in Industrial Distribution and Marketing, a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), and another master's in Public Health (MPH).
He also holds two master's degrees of science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Systems Engineering (MS) and Information Quality (MS).
His doctorate degree is from the University of Central Arkansas in Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies (PhD). His dissertation research was related to improving collaborative leadership among healthcare professionals of different disciplines.
After working nearly a decade in the healthcare industry, Matthew earned formal recognition from hospital executives and the American College of Healthcare Executives as a peer. He was awarded the status of Fellow (FACHE) and the credential of being board-certified in hospital administration at a national level.
Matthew is a professional of the highest order. He excels at simplifying complex problems and recognizing hidden opportunities. He has earned the Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certifaction (LSSMBB) from the Management & Strategy Institute. Matthew has experiance in managing and leading hundrends of improvement projects as well as training staff to use modern improvement methodologies.
Mandy Pearson, MS
Environmental & Sustainability Consultant
Mandy has extensive experience in ecology, wildlife management, outdoor education, sustainability, and program development. She earned her way through college working for the Birmingham Zoo and a college-sponsored work studies "Field School" program. She received a bachelor's degree of science in Ecology and Forensics and a master's degree of science in Biology from Jacksonville State University.
Mandy has deep professional experience in various educational and ecological enivronments. She has designed environmental education programs through events, workshops, classes, campfire talks, and partnerships. Mandy has trained and presented programs with native, domestic, and exotic animals. In addition, she teaches wilderness safety and survival. She is a unique interpreter who knows how to speak to people of all ages with diverse backgrounds.
Mandy has served as the President of the Environmental Education Association of Alabama. She has volunteered with the National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and the U.S. Forest Service.
Rae Pearson, MS
Funding, Writing, & Education Consultant
Rae is a talented professional with a passion for the art of effective communication. Whether writing, editing, or teaching, she helps guide clients in shaping their ideas, so they can better understand their own thinking and clearly share those ideas with others. Rae loves to help organizations formulate and streamline their communication, both internally and externally.
Rae attended Samford University where she studied as a University Fellow in a competitive program that explores Western Intellectual Traditions--spanning history, philosophy, and science--through Socratic-style courses. She holds a bachelor's degree in English (BA) and a master's degree in Education (MS) from Samford.
Rae has taught in the classroom and in many informal sectors. She has worked with six non-profits in various roles, ranging from ministries to wildlife conservation to community theatre. Her diverse background uniquely positions Rae to aid organizations with employee training, funding initiatives, public outreach, and community engagement.
